There Are Not Enough Hours
Often times, you see me writing blog posts on a personal change or break through. Often times, I have been saying, “There aren’t enough hours in the day.” I began to think about my sleep habits. I began researching the habits of successful people. To my dismay, I learned that the magic hour for incredibly successful people is 4 AM! For some one who is ready to grab life by the horns, it gives an average of an extra 3 hours of productivity.
(By the way, isn’t this clock a neat statement piece? Check it out, here.)

Day 2
Today is day 2 of waking up at 4 AM. My housework is exactly where it needs to be, home school prep has been done. I have had time to motivate myself, pray, and do my Spiritual Awakenings with Iyanla Vanzant. I am showered, dressed, and had my coffee. Its a good day!
But…….I’m tired. Yes, I said that in a whiny voice. At some point, I have to be stronger than my excuses. I can rise to greatness, I can do so much more, if I just work at it. I am not saying that a 45 minute nap won’t happen. In fact many experts recommend a 30-60 minute nap.
What Are You Getting At?
You are probably wondering what I am getting at here, and how this can apply to you. Are you finding yourself missing opportunities because you are “behind” or “there are not enough hours to get it all done?” I realized that it is a CHOICE for me not to push that extra mile. It has been my choice all along.
I am in control of my today, and I can create a better tomorrow. To be honest, I am glad to see order in my life. I will check in on this blog post in a week and do an update on how a 4 AM wake up has changed my life.
If you see something lacking in your life, don’t wait for change. Create it. We all have 24 hours in one day? How are you using those hours. It does not have to be a 4 AM wake up for you, that was my decision. Seriously, ask yourself what you want, and go for it!
